Fate is a funny thing. One day you might have absolutely no cares in the world...and the next day you're guaranteed to be busy from when you open your eyes that morning to when your head hits the pillow at night.
For instance, last week was relatively low-key for me. I was able to do a little delaying and procrastinating, and still managed to finish what I needed to, in a reasonable time.
And (of course!) Fate would have it that the week before spring break, when I'm trying to pack, clean, get laundry together, and find the passport, I also have a major paidiea paper due (not quite written), job applications to turn in (not quite finished), a resume for my job applications to create (also not quite finished), a religion project (...to start!), J-term study abroad opportunities to start looking at, rooming options for next year to figure out, doctor appointments to go to, the usual homework to finish, and -oh yeah, one more tiny little thing- MIDTERMS TO STUDY FOR!!!
Needless to say, I'm a bit frazzled. To say the least, I'm stressing. Unnecessary to mention, I'm getting just a little frantic. -Ok, you get the picture!-
I wish I had some clever, pithy saying to make my week thus far seem comical, and light-hearted. How about..... It's only Monday!
I hope Seniors, like myself, remember to breathe, stay focused, and Getter done!
It also wouldn't hurt to say a quick prayer and to read the verse at the bottom of this blog :)
Good luck y'all!
~Anna
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4: 6-7
